Description

Ferries to the island leave from Bayfield every 30 minutes during the busiest months. One-way rates are $7.50 for an auto, not including the driver, and $3.50 per person. The ferry can accommodate motor homes and trailers.



It is recommended that campers bring firewood before July 1st and after Labor Day. The only winter campsites are sites 26 through 30. There are no campsites with lake frontage. The campground is set back from the lake approximately 1/3 of a mile. All campers walk to the beach. Parking is available near the day use area. Dogs must be on a leash, and must be attended at all times. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. There are no bike trails. Bikes are not allowed on any trails or on the boardwalk. No fires are allowed on the beach
